Notice on PAHs Limits Certification

For Enterprises’ better management of hazardous substances in supply chain and their import and export needs, CQC has started the PAHs limits certification from March 1, 2009.

     I. Scope of application

PAHs certification covers products and materials that may contain PAHs, e.g. plastic and rubber materials, textiles, paint, chemicals, pigment, dye, remover, electrolyte, mineral oil, mineral pitch, fungicide, mosquito incense, etc.

Type test + conformity statement

III. Tariff
     1. Entire devices

Including PAHs certification application charge, registration charge and inspection charge, where application charge is RMB1000, registration charge is RMB1000 and inspection charge is RMB800 per material.

2. Parts and materials
    Including PAH certification application charge, registration charge and inspection charge, where application charge is RMB 500, registration charge is RMB 500 and inspection charge is RMB800 per material.
